EYC

EYC - Episcopal Youth Community

All Saints’ EYC offers the youth of the church a place to grow into themselves in Christian community. Through the year, events are planned – some of a religious nature; some just for fun; but all in the company of others on a similar spiritual journey.

Sr. EYC is for young people in 7th through 12th grades. The years of middle school and high school can present a plethora of complex issues and emotions, as well as positive learning experiences to be shared. EYC can create a safe space for young people to talk about their lives, consider spiritual matters, or live out their baptismal covenant. It also provides a unique opportunity for good times filled with fun, food and fellowship. And there are also the projects adopted by EYC in which members reach out to others to share the gift of grace, by volunteering at Saints’ Brew, buying Christmas gifts for young people who are far less fortunate or collecting coats for those in need. Sr. EYC meets on Sundays during the school year usually at the church.

Jr. EYC is for those in first grade through sixth grade. Those in Jr. EYC are, like the Sr. EYC people, involved on the diocesan level, and can take part in Junior DOY sessions in the fall and spring each year. There are also opportunities for taking part in projects that encourage volunteerism and helping those less fortunate. And, of course, there is always room for fun group activities.  Jr. EYC meets monthly during the school year, specific dates are announced through our newsletter Saints' News.
