Seeking.  Serving.  Supporting.  Welcoming.

Here’s what we’re building at All Saints’

All Saints’ Episcopal Church is a community of seekers – people who want to grow spiritually and gain a deeper understanding of God. We are part of a journey to find the mystery of God’s presence in us and in the world around us.

DSC_0005 - Copy (2)We are people who want a safe place to wrestle with big spiritual questions in a supportive community, grounded in tradition but open to God’s ongoing revelation. We believe in a faith that makes a difference in our individual lives and in the community and the wider world. We believe God calls us to put our faith into action by serving others.

We’re part of an ancient tradition, but we’re not frozen in the past. We know that God is still alive and at work in the world, giving us new insights and inviting us to transformation if we’re open to God’s presence and action. The truthIMG_2479 contained in the Bible’s stories and metaphors is central to our community, and we find our place in the Christian story through an ongoing conversation with Holy Scripture.

The journey takes us through times of great joy and times of difficulty. We rejoice together in good times, and we support each other in challenging times. Supporting each other reflects our conviction that God sustains us always.

We promise in our baptismal covenant to “respect the dignity of every human being,” and we believe that welcoming everyone is part of God’s call to our community.Children in liturgy

We have ministered in downtown Tupelo since 1870, and we believe God’s call to us is as alive now as it was then. We hope that you will join us.
