Local Outreach

When seeking ways to serve within the local community, members of the All Saints’ Servant Ministry committee don’t have to look far to find an abundance of needs.

The mission of the committee can be simply stated, and yet its importance is profound and widespread: “to reach out to persons in need within our parish, our community, our state, nation and world.”

Specifically, there is a multitude of local organizations that have been – and continue to be – touched by the Servant Ministry, through both in-person assistance and financial help. In fact, the committee in one recent year distributed $15,000 among community and national nonprofit organizations.

The nonprofit Mississippi United to End Homelessness (MUTEH) is supported, in part, by the local outreach of All Saints’.

Other local and community ministries that have received support from the Servant Ministry include the Autism Center, Church After School Association (CASA), Faith Haven, Family Resource Center, Tupelo Good Samaritan Clinic, Healing Horses, Meals on Wheels, National Fire & Safety, National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Regional Rehabilitation Center, Saints Brew, Sanctuary Hospice, Special Olympics of Tupelo, Shepherd Center, Talbot House, Tree of Life Clinic, Tupelo-Lee Humane Society, United Way of Northeast Mississippi and Weekend Food Backpack Program.

Servant Ministry works closely within our own parish, supporting the Rector’s and Deacon’s Discretionary Funds and the needs of All Saints’ parishioners.
