Becca Walton was ordained as a Priest in the Diocese of Mississippi in June 2022. She is a graduate of the School of Theology at Sewanee. Originally from East Tennessee, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s degree from the University of Mississippi. After graduate school, she worked in arts and nonprofit management before serving as an Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi. Becca discerned a call to ordained ministry at St. Peter’s in Oxford. The year before she started seminary, she lived in London as a member of the Community of St. Anselm, a new monastic community. Becca did her field education at Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville.
