The adult collection of Saints’ Library is housed in the parlor. The collection provides materials to enrich the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual lives of the congregation and supports the various ministries of All Saints’ with appropriate resources. If you are looking for a specific book, the card catalog has title, author and subject cards to help you. This library is a church library, not just a library in a church.
When borrowing an item parishioners are asked to sign their name and phone number on the book card and file the card behind the current month in the wooden box. Directions are on the card catalog near the windows.
Saints’ Library relies on book or monetary donations. We hope you will take time to visit, study, browse, and borrow materials. Please return in a timely manner to the return basket under the drawers for the next borrower.
There is a Little Saints’ library for children housed in the children’s activity center. There are three areas: ‘Read to Me’; ‘I Can Read’; and ‘Twix ‘n Tween’ (intermediate)….both fiction and nonfiction are in each area. Children or a parent are asked to sign the book card and file it in the wooden box. We ask that you return the book to the basket as soon as you finish. Very small children should be supervised. This door is locked for safety reasons except on Sunday. Should you wish to browse during the week a key is available in the office. There is a story hour for young children at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoons with Heather Tate.
Feel free to contact the office for further information or questions.
